So, I know that this video came out more than just a few weeks ago but was I really going to dismiss the video for a track I’ve been hyping so much up on this blog of mine since the first leak of their album? I enjoy Crystal Castles for too many reasons to just do that and after watching this video I have another reason to love them.
I knew we could just leave it to the duo to have a song that has a light vocal melody juxtaposed with some hard electronic beats to put out a video that is both beautiful and creepy. Most of it just follows Alice Glass through the woods but even with all the images of outside scenery, the quick shots of graveyards inserted here and there scare the crap out of me. It’s not an obvious fear but it’s definite feeling of uneasiness.
