If you are familiar with Local Natives, you are already aware of the fact that any cover song of theirs does justice to the original. (Just take a listen to their cover of “Warning Sign” off of their debut album, Gorilla Manor.) They’re now back with another cover but this time, it’s off of Aquarium Drunkard’s compilation, L’Aventure.

Aquarium Drunkard, which is run by Autumn Tone‘s Justin Gage, continues to be one of the most legitimate music blogs out there. He was certainly one of the first to take music blogging seriously out here in Los Angeles and he’s done a compilation before called RAM On LA, which had LA artists cover songs off of Paul McCartney’s RAM album. This time time around, the compilation will include covers songs of Television’s album, Adventure. LA artists on this track list include The Henry Clay People. Foreign Born, The Happy Hollows, The Deadly Syndrome, Immad Wasif, Dirt Dress, The Growlers and of course, Local Natives. (Talk about a mega-packed and talented roster!)
