When VEGA’s Alan Polamo decided to make some music that didn’t exactly fit the sound of his other bands, his decision to share it with other was a wise choice. Although he released his material during a time when many other chillwave artists such as Toro Y Moi, Memory Tapes and Washed Out emerged, his album Psychic Chasms released under the moniker, Neon Indian, did pretty well and jump started a good solo career for himself.
The album may have been liked by the majority of the indie scene but he had never released any videos for singles such as “Deadbeat Summer” and “6669 (I Don’t Know If You Know).” That has changed with the new material he’s about to release on Green Label Sound. His latest track, “Sleep Paralysist” has gotten favorable reviews and now he also has a video to boost its popularity.
