Chillwave artist, Washed Out, returns with a new video for his track, “Belong.” As a track off his limited cassette tape release, Mirror Universe, back in September it’s a continuation of breezy melodies and fuzzy guitars.

However, this video directed by Blake Salzman presents the most unexpected visuals to go along with the track. I thought Washed Out’s last video for “Feel It All Around” felt a little too home video, but based on this video it looks like Salzman’s been watching SNL’s “Body Fusion” skit or a lot of Eric Wareheim videos while coming up with the treatment. Decked out in glowing colors and girls staring at the camera during jazzercise, the video’s finale calls for a dance party out in space.
